Bywell Hall is Grade II listed building and part of a 200 year sporting Estate owned and run by 4^th Viscount Allendale. The property and its surrounding grounds have been in the family for centuries.

Built in 1766, the property underwent significant alterations throughout the 1800’s. Over 200 years on the renovations have started again in order to return the State Rooms to their former glory. However Bywell Hall is still open for business or rather their glorious grounds with rolling grassland, woodlands and rivers are and you’ll struggle to find a more picturesque venue in Hexham.

In 2013, Best Intent Marquees were lucky enough to be invited to supply a marquee for a gorgeous Spring wedding at Bywell Hall. The marquee was joined onto the house with clear roof and walls being used in the first section to create a welcoming reception area. From here large glass windows were used on one side to maximise the view and add a touch of class to the huge dinner and dancing area which was large enough to seat 220. With a blackout roof and starlight lighting the dancing area was truly special.
