Meet the Best Intent Team

Ross joined Best Intent 10 years ago, aged 21, and is now one of our directors. He’s always on the go, but when he’s away from work, he loves spending time with his family and fitting in as many holidays as he can.

After 6 summers with Best Intent, Paul is now part of the team full time. When he’s not helping put up marquees, you might find him taking part in the Borders’ Common Ridings and Festivals on horseback or out skiing – he’s a qualified ski instructor too!

Steph has been part of Best Intent since 2007 and plays a huge part in keeping everything running smoothly. Whether she’s organising things in the office or out on-site visits, she makes sure everyone knows what’s going on and keeps the boys in check!  Outside work, she’s just as busy riding her horses and spending time with her kids and dogs.

Sean joined Best Intent in 2022 and is now one of our directors. You’ll often find him out on site and helping customers plan their events. Outside work, he enjoys a good night out with his mates – though he’s less keen on the early Sunday shift afterwards.

William, better known as Willy MacP, joined Best Intent in the summer of 2023 and has become a familiar face on the marquee crew. When he’s away from work, you’ll usually find on the golf course – hopefully somewhere near the fairway!

Amy has been part of Best Intent part time since 2019. She works behind the scenes in the office, helping customers with their marquee enquires and keeping our social media up to date. When she’s not at her desk, there’s a good chance she’s on a horse or at the gym.
